Trio Lagos

Trio Lagos is a funk and soul trio based in Northern NJ and the lower Hudson Valley.
Andrés Santiago, Henry Anderson, and Sam Gautier all grew up playing music together in high school. After living in different states and playing in different music groups over the years, the trio reconnected some 15 years later to form Trio Lagos. Playing mostly instrumental funk and soul music, Trio Lagos pulls from the influence of the great funk and jazz organ trios like the Meters, Jimmy Smith, and Medeski Martin and Wood. The band also often hosts a rotating cast of guest musicians to join in on vocals, keys, guitar, and horns.
